On the second day of his official six-day visit to China, Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari met with Chinese President Hu Jintao to discuss trade and security issues. Zardari and Hu pledged to work together to fight extremism, separatism and terrorism, dubbed the "three evils" in China. China's Xinhua news agency noted the two countries are currently conducting joint counterterrorism exercises in China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The two presidents looked on as representatives of their countries signed six new agreements covering cooperation
in agriculture, healthcare, justice, media, economy and technology.
